New Signings Announced
Wraysbury FC Secure Four Key Summer Additions

Wraysbury FC have moved decisively in the summer, confirming four important new signings ahead of the upcoming Thames Valley campaign. The club has focused on adding experience, composure and physical presence across midfield and attack, with each arrival already showing promising signs in training and pre-season. Liam Shanahan – Midfielder

Experienced midfielder Liam Shanahan joins Wraysbury looking to bring calmness and control to the centre of the pitch. Comfortable on the ball and composed under pressure, he is expected to add a real sense of stability to the midfield. Returning from an ACL injury, Shanahan’s determination and professionalism have impressed the coaching staff, who believe he will quickly become a key figure in the side.

Max Stangroom – Striker

Tall, strong and difficult to handle, Max Stangroom arrives as a powerful focal point in attack. Despite his size, he possesses quick feet and the ability to link play effectively. After spending a few years out of the game, Stangroom returns hungry and motivated, ready to make up for lost time and give Wraysbury a new dimension going forward.

Bevan Van Wyk – Midfielder

Hard-working and technically assured, Bevan Van Wyk signs from fellow Thames Valley side Caversham. Wraysbury supporters will remember him well, having scored against the club in a 1–1 draw on the final day of last season. Now in Wraysbury colours, Van Wyk has already hit the ground running, scoring two goals in pre-season and showing exactly why the club were keen to bring him in.

Ben Harwood – Midfielder

Versatile midfielder Ben Harwood joins the squad after impressing in Sunday football. Another hard-working player who is comfortable on the ball, Harwood offers flexibility and can operate in a number of positions across the midfield. His energy and adaptability add valuable depth to the squad as Wraysbury prepare for a demanding season.

Together, these four signings represent a strong statement of intent from Wraysbury FC. With added experience, quality on the ball and physical presence in key areas, the club is building a squad capable of competing strongly in the season ahead.
