Wraysbury Village 1   Maidenhead Town 2

(Nascimento)

A great team performance wasn’t enough for the Stags as Maidenhead get their revenge to edge out the win at the Memorial Ground.

Three defeats in a row surely now has scuppered any hopes of us winning the league despite putting in a great performance, but Maidenhead Town were just too strong. A penalty and another in the second was enough to take the points back the Bisham despite Cristiano Nascimento grabbing his first goal for the club.

Matty Bonnett was captain again in place of the absent Paul Reed and Tommy Windsor was back for his second start. Chevy Hart made his first appearance of the season. Gary Homes picked up a yellow and an assist in this game, but all-round superb performance by the midfield maestro earned him another Man of the Match vote.

More injuries came in the game too with Billy Hart and substitute Alfie Fairhall pulling up. And with another game this Monday we not sure how many more injuries we can take.

The Stags (3-5-2): Bonnett (c); Pitt, Currell, Sangster (Fairhall) (Rawlings); Sillah, C.Hart, Windsor, Homes, B.Hart (Landi); Anum, Nascimento.

Goalscorer: Nascimento

Booked: Homes
